Yesterday, lead singers of Horoscopos de Durango, Vicky and Marisol Terrazas, Antonio Medina and their lawyer Luis Fernandez appeared before the Okeechobee County Judicial Court. Virginia and Marisol Terrazas were charged with multiple felonies stemming from an incident at a Rodeo event back in November of 2012.
The Terrazas sisters and Medina entered a plea of “No Contest” to multiple felony counts. An Okeechobee County Circuit judge gave the Terrazas sisters and Medina to one year of probation each and community service under a plea agreement. Under the agreement all charges and record will be expunge once they complete their probation.
Marisol has to complete 25 hours of community service. She was facing 10 years in prison for two felony counts for inciting a riot and resisting arrest without violence.
Virginia received 50 hours of community service. She was facing 15 years in prison for three felony counts: battery to a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest with violence and inciting a riot. The battery charge Vicky was facing was dropped under the plea agreement.
